Stewarding Supervisor
Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Stewarding Supervisor to oversee daily stewarding operations and ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across kitchens and back-of-house areas. The role supports smooth kitchen operations while ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily stewarding operations across kitchens and F&B outlets
Allocate tasks and manage stewarding staff duty rosters
Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchens, equipment, and BOH areas
Monitor dishwashing operations during service periods
Enforce hygiene, HACCP, and safety standards at all times
Train stewards on cleaning procedures, chemical handling, and safety practices
Coordinate with Chefs and F&B teams to support operational requirements
Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and raise requisitions as required
Ensure proper waste management and recycling procedures
Conduct regular inspections and report any hygiene or safety concerns
Requirements & Qualifications
Previous experience as a Stewarding Supervisor or Senior Steward
Knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards
Experience supervising teams in a hotel or large restaurant environment
Good communication skills in English (additional languages an advantage)
Physically fit and able to work flexible shifts
Familiarity with UAE food safety regulations preferred
Strong organizational and team leadership skills
