Bellman / Bell Attendant
Job Summary
The Bellman (Bell Attendant) is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by assisting with luggage handling, guest arrivals and departures, and providing accurate information about the property and local area. This role plays a key part in creating a positive first and last impression for guests while supporting Front Office operations in line with Salayel Hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and assist with luggage handling and room escorting
Explain room features, hotel facilities, and services to guests
Assist guests during check-out with luggage and transportation arrangements
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby, entrance, and luggage storage areas
Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, coordinating with Front Office and Concierge teams
Support valet parking operations when required
Ensure proper handling, tagging, and storage of guest luggage
Follow safety, security, and hotel SOPs at all times
Report guest feedback, complaints, or unusual situations to the Front Office Supervisor
Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times
Requirements & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a hotel, serviced apartment, or hospitality environment is preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good knowledge of Abu Dhabi city, landmarks, and directions is an advantage
Physically fit and able to lift and carry luggage
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage)
