Asst. Front Office Manager
Job Summary
The Assistant Front Office Manager supports the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily front office operations to ensure exceptional guest service, operational efficiency, and compliance with brand standards. This role plays a key part in guest satisfaction, team supervision, and smooth coordination across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing daily Front Office operations including Reception, Guest Relations, Concierge, and Bell Desk
Ensure a seamless guest arrival and departure experience
Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally
Supervise, train, and motivate front office team members
Support scheduling, duty rosters, and attendance management
Monitor room availability, occupancy levels, and rate integrity
Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, and F&B teams
Ensure compliance with hotel policies, SOPs, and UAE hospitality regulations
Assist in revenue optimization through upselling and cross-selling initiatives
Prepare reports related to guest satisfaction, occupancy, and operational performance
Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) when required
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years of Front Office experience in a hotel or hospitality environment
Prior experience as Assistant Front Office Manager / Front Office Supervisor preferred
Strong guest service and problem-solving skills
Good leadership and team management ability
Experience with hotel PMS systems (Opera or similar preferred)
Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
Well-groomed, professional, and guest-oriented personality
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
UAE experience preferred
